Sonam Limited, a leading manufacturer in the horological industry, has announced a significant update regarding its board of directors following a meeting held on March 27, 2026. The company has formally accepted the resignation of Mrs. Disha Vishal Shah (DIN: 10659616) from her position as an Independent Director. Simultaneously, the board approved the appointment of Mrs. Tanishka Anilbhai Dhamejani (DIN: 11317808) as a Non-executive Additional Independent Director, effective immediately.

The resignation of Mrs. Disha Vishal Shah was attributed to her pre-occupancy and inability to devote sufficient time to the company’s affairs. She confirmed that there are no other material reasons for her departure beyond those stated in her resignation letter. The transition marks a strategic shift in the company’s independent oversight as it continues to navigate the competitive landscape of the clock manufacturing sector.
