Elgi Equipments Limited has issued an intimation regarding a delay in its manufacturing facility expansion project at Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore. Originally, the company planned to enhance capacities for its Global Support Center (GSC) and Diesel-Powered Screw Air Compressor (DPSAC) units by the fourth quarter of FY 2025-26. However, due to delays in obtaining necessary statutory and regulatory approvals, these timelines have been revised. Despite these project delays, the company has confirmed that its current revenue remains unaffected.

The revised schedule now expects the capacity addition for the Global Support Center (GSC) to be completed in Q1 of FY 2026-27. The expansion for the Diesel-Powered Screw Air Compressor (DPSAC) production is now anticipated to be finalized by Q4 of FY 2027-28. This project was initially part of a broader strategy informed in May 2024 to create infrastructure for expanding manufacturing facilities and air compressor delivery parts.
