Magellanic Cloud Limited has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Provigil Surveillance Limited, has received a significant Letter of Acceptance from South Central Railway, Vijayawada Division. The contract involves the execution of S&T arrangements for providing CCTV cameras at Goods Sheds across multiple railway stations. This domestic project is valued at approximately INR 7.88 Crore and is slated for completion within 365 days.

The project encompasses a comprehensive scope of work, including the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of CCTV surveillance systems. These security enhancements will be implemented across various stations within the Vijayawada Division of Indian Railways. The order was awarded in the normal course of business and does not involve any interest from the company’s promoters or related party transactions.

Magellanic Cloud Limited, originally incorporated as South India Projects Limited in 1981, is a global technology firm specializing in digital transformation, AI, and advanced surveillance solutions. In 2025, the company aggressively expanded its surveillance footprint, securing multiple Indian Railways mandates including a ₹6.16 Crore project in Nagpur and AI-powered projects for Western Railway. Beyond railways, the company’s subsidiary Provigil secured a ₹10 Crore order from Indian Bank and a ₹25+ Crore order from Punjab & Sind Bank in early 2026 for integrated e-surveillance.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2025, Magellanic Cloud reported a revenue of ₹165.02 Crore, representing an 8.92% growth compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s net profit for this period stood at ₹29.16 Crore. As of March 2026, the promoter holding in the company is 54.04%, while retail investors hold approximately 45.7%. While the company does not list a singular “famous” individual investor in recent filings, it maintains a small 0.26% stake held by Foreign Institutional Investors.
