Prostarm Info Systems Limited has announced a significant strategic realignment of its operations and a major international partnership following its Board Meeting held on April 07, 2026. The company is optimizing its manufacturing footprint by shifting major UPS-related business operations from its Pisoli Unit in Pune to the Bakrol Unit in Gujarat. Concurrently, the company has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China-based Shenzhen Topband Co. Ltd (TOPBAND) to establish a collaborative framework for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in India.

Under the new MOU, TOPBAND will provide technology, technical know-how, and Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) BESS kits, while Prostarm will manage local assembly, integration, and commercialization within the Indian market. This partnership is strategically designed to target Commercial & Industrial (C&I), residential, and utility-scale projects, aligning closely with the “Make in India” initiative. As part of the agreement, Prostarm has committed to a minimum purchase of USD 10 Million over an 18-month period from the date of the first commercial order.

Prostarm Info Systems Limited is a key player in the power electronics sector, specializing in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solutions and energy management. The company is currently undergoing a transition to enhance operational efficiency, with the relocation of its Pisoli operations expected to be completed by November 2026. During the 2025 calendar year, the company remained active in the Indian energy sector, focusing on strengthening its domestic value addition and exploring sustainable energy solutions through technical innovation.

Financially, the company reported a consolidated turnover of INR 350.64 Crores for the Financial Year 2024-25. For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2025, the company achieved a turnover of INR 278.63 Crores. The UPS operations at the Pisoli Unit, which are being relocated, contributed approximately INR 11.88 Crores (3.39%) to the total consolidated turnover in the last full financial year. The strategic partnership with TOPBAND—a global entity with a turnover of CNY 11.08 Billion for the year ended December 31, 2025—is expected to significantly accelerate Prostarm’s revenue growth and market development in the burgeoning BESS sector.
