Jain Irrigation Systems Limited has announced the receipt of a significant work order valued at ₹135 crore plus applicable GST from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The order involves design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of 5,438 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems ranging in capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM B Scheme.
The order is to be executed within the fiscal year 2025-26 and represents a domestic contract. The promoters have no interest in MSEDCL, and the transaction is not related party in nature. The contract demonstrates Jain Irrigation’s strong footing in the renewable energy segment, specifically solar water pumping solutions that support agricultural irrigation projects in line with government sustainability schemes.
