GPT Infraprojects Limited announced a major contract win valued at ₹1804.48 Crore from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) for constructing a flyover along LBS Marg from Kalpana Talkies in Kurla (L Ward) to Pankhe Shah Dargah in Ghatkopar West (N Ward) of Eastern Suburbs. This domestic order, executed in a joint venture where GPT holds a 26% share worth ₹469.16 Crore, spans 36 months excluding monsoons. The announcement follows an L1 intimation on December 13, 2025, boosting the company’s order book to ₹3,861 Crore with FY26 inflows at ₹966 Crore.
GPT Infraprojects operates primarily in infrastructure (95% revenue) and sleeper segments, specializing in railway bridges, road construction, track development, and concrete sleepers supplied across India and Africa. Facilities include units in Panagarh (West Bengal), Ladysmith (South Africa), Tsumeb (Namibia), and Eshiem (Ghana). In 2025, the company secured key orders like ₹199 Crore from North Eastern Railway, ₹195 Crore international contract from Ivory Coast’s TIPSP, and a ₹481 Crore deal from South Eastern Railway in April.
For Q2 FY26 (ended September 2025), GPT reported consolidated net sales of ₹278.67 Crore, down 10.86% QoQ from ₹312.50 Crore in Q1 FY26 but up slightly from prior periods amid execution focus. Net profit rose 23.65% YoY to ₹21.80 Crore from ₹17.63 Crore in Q2 FY25, with PAT margins improving to 7.60% due to 343 bps EBITDA margin expansion to 14.19%. No prominent famous investors are noted; promoters hold 69.2% with 50.9% pledged.
