Univastu India Limited has officially received a Letter of Acceptance from IRCON International Limited for a significant metro rail project in Mumbai. The project involves the comprehensive design, supply, installation, and commissioning of power supply and traction systems for Metro Line 6, spanning Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli. This order marks a major milestone in the company’s expansion within the urban mass transit sector.

The contract is valued at approximately ₹485.67 crore plus €2.68 million (excluding GST and Customs Duty). The execution period is set for 104 weeks, followed by a 2-year defect liability maintenance period and an additional 5 years of comprehensive maintenance. This project adds substantial long-term revenue visibility to Univastu’s order book, covering critical electrical and mechanical works for the metro corridor.

Univastu India Limited, established in 2009 and headquartered in Pune, is an integrated EPC services provider specializing in civil, structural, and infrastructure projects. Throughout 2025, the company has actively expanded its footprint, securing several major orders including a ₹391.76 crore contract from Larsen & Toubro for Mumbai Metro Line 4 and 4A. Additionally, the company was awarded a ₹14.50 crore sports infrastructure project for swimming pools and accessories in late 2025.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2025, Univastu reported a robust financial performance with consolidated sales reaching ₹56.16 crore, a 33.75% increase from the ₹41.99 crore reported in the same period of 2024. The company’s net profit surged by approximately 81.85% year-on-year to ₹5.51 crore. The promoter group, led by Pradeep Kisan Khandagale, maintains a significant stake of 67.46% as of early 2026, while the remaining 32.54% is held by retail investors.
