Vibhor Steel Tubes Limited has announced the receipt of a significant new work order from Agrawal Infracab Pvt Ltd for the supply of transmission towers. This intimation, filed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, highlights the company’s expansion into specialized infrastructure components. The order is a domestic contract that underscores the company’s growing footprint in the Indian power and infrastructure sectors.
The work order, awarded by Agrawal Infracab Pvt Ltd, is valued at approximately ₹16.87 Crores (Sixteen Crores Eighty Seven Lakhs). Dated March 19, 2026, the contract specifies the supply of Vibhor Steel Make transmission towers. This development follows the company’s strategic entry into the transmission line tower manufacturing segment, supported by its newly commissioned Unit III facility in Sundergarh, Odisha.
Incorporated in 2003, Vibhor Steel Tubes Limited specializes in manufacturing ERW black pipes, galvanized pipes, hollow sections, and primer-painted pipes. In 2025 and early 2026, the company aggressively diversified its portfolio, launching new product lines such as Octagonal Poles on January 2, 2026, with Monopoles and High Mast Lightning Poles expected by the end of March 2026. Recent news highlights a steady stream of orders, including multiple contracts for metal crash barriers worth ₹18.87 Crores in late 2025 and a separate ₹7.43 Crores order in December 2025. The company’s expansion is anchored by its major 1.56 Lakh MT capacity plant in Odisha, which became operational in August 2025 to serve eastern markets and export demand.
For the quarter ended December 31, 2025 (Q3 FY26), Vibhor Steel Tubes reported a total revenue of ₹301.50 Crores, representing a 21.94% year-on-year growth compared to ₹247.25 Crores in Q3 FY25. However, net profit for the same period declined significantly by 51.60% YoY to ₹1.66 Crores from ₹3.43 Crores in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. This profit squeeze occurred despite a 16.9% sequential (QoQ) jump in net profit from ₹1.42 Crores in Q2 FY26. The company is primarily promoter-held, with the promoter group owning 73.66% as of December 2025. Notable individual promoters include Mr. Vijay Kumar Kaushik and Mrs. Pratima Sandhir, who have been actively increasing their personal stakes through open market purchases in March 2026, signaling continued confidence in the company’s long-term growth trajectory.
