Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has announced the receipt of a significant domestic order from Ultratech Cement Limited for the supply of specialized railway freight equipment. The company officially disclosed this development on 14th April, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The contract involves the manufacturing and delivery of 1 rake of BCFC M1 wagons along with 1 Break Van BVCM.

The total consideration for this order is valued at Rs. 27.18 Crores (excluding taxes). As per the terms of the agreement, the project is a domestic contract and does not involve any interest from the promoter or group companies. Texmaco Rail is expected to execute and complete the entire order on or before 15th July, 2026.

The firm is primarily engaged in manufacturing a diverse range of products including railway freight cars, hydro-mechanical equipment, steel castings, and pressure vessels. Notable recent activities include a consistent focus on specialized wagon manufacturing to cater to the growing logistics needs of the cement and mineral sectors.

For the last quarterly financial results (Q3 FY2026), the company reported a consolidated revenue of Rs. 1,041.60 Crores, reflecting a decline compared to previous periods. The consolidated net profit for the quarter stood at Rs. 42.84 Crores. In terms of shareholding during 2025-2026, the company maintains a stable investor base with Promoters holding 48.34% and Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) holding 7.07% as of early 2026. The company also counts various Mutual Funds, which hold a combined 5.14% stake, among its professional investors.
