Avantel Limited has announced the receipt of a purchase order amendment for additional quantities from M/s. Bharat Electronics Limited. The amendment, received on May 4, 2026, involves the supply of Power Amplifiers. This update was officially communicated to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.

The specific amendment adds an order value of Rs. 3.01 Crores (excluding taxes) to an existing purchase order dated November 22, 2025, which was originally valued at Rs. 8.03 Crores. This manufacturing contract is awarded by a domestic entity and is scheduled for execution by July 2026. The terms of the contract include a performance bank guarantee of 5%.

Avantel Limited specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced wireless and satellite communication products, primarily serving the aerospace and defense sectors. Their product portfolio includes HF software-defined radios, radar systems, and network management software. In recent 2026 updates, the company secured a significant supply order worth Rs. 137.12 Crores from the India Meteorological Department and another order worth Rs. 122.58 Crores from NewSpace India Limited.

For the last reported quarterly financial results (Q4 FY 2025-26), Avantel reported standalone revenue of Rs. 64.93 Crores, representing a 30.54% growth compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. However, net profit for the quarter stood at Rs. 4.77 Crores, which reflected a decline of approximately 21.55% year-on-year. The company’s promoter group, led by founder Vidyasagar Abburi, remains the primary significant stakeholder, with no major external “famous” institutional investors currently dominating the shareholding pattern beyond the promoter family.
