EMS Limited has officially received a Letter of Award (LOA) for a significant sewer network project from UP Jal Nigam (Urban), Varanasi. The notice, dated May 06, 2026, follows the company’s previous announcement of securing the lowest bidder (L1) status in April 2026.
The contract involves the laying of a sewer network and house connections in 18 problematic wards of Nagar Nigam, Varanasi, specifically focusing on Hukulganj and Naibasti. The scope of work includes surveying, soil investigation, design, and supply of all materials and labor on a turnkey basis. Additionally, the project encompasses the construction of a 23 MLD Sewage Pumping Station (SPS). The total estimated value of this order is approximately Rs. 6484.93 Lakhs, with an execution timeline of 18 months.
EMS Limited is a multi-disciplinary EPC company specializing in turnkey services for water and wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal. Based in Ghaziabad, the company provides comprehensive services ranging from engineering and design to the installation of domestic waste treatment facilities. In recent 2025 updates, the company secured multiple projects in Uttar Pradesh, including a Rs. 104.05 crore water supply scheme in Agra and a Rs. 98.8 crore sewerage scheme in Ayodhya. As of early 2025, its total order book stood at approximately Rs. 2,236.43 crore.
For the quarter ended December 31, 2025 (Q3 FY26), the company reported a consolidated revenue of Rs. 202.88 Crores, which marked a 14.1% increase from the previous quarter’s Rs. 177.86 Crores but an 18.2% decline compared to Rs. 247.92 Crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Net profit for the same period stood at Rs. 19.29 Crores, representing a 31.4% decrease from the previous quarter and a 61.9% drop year-over-year. Major shareholders include the promoter Ramveer Singh, who holds a 69.7% stake, while institutional interest remains present through various funds such as the Navi Aggressive Hybrid Fund.
