GK Energy Limited has received a Letter of Empanelment (LoE) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the installation of 15,000 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS). The project, valued at ₹353.89 Crores (inclusive of GST), covers the entire state of Maharashtra under the “Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana” and must be executed within 60 days from the issuance of the work order.

The contract involves the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar pumps with capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP. This domestic order is a one-time contract aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity through sustainable energy solutions. The company clarified that no promoter or promoter group has any interest in the entity awarding the contract.

GK Energy Limited is a premier engineering, procurement, and commissioning (EPC) provider specializing in solar-powered agricultural water pump systems in India. It is the largest pure-play EPC provider for these systems under the PM KUSUM Scheme. In addition to agricultural pumps, the company provides solar dual water pump systems for local government bodies and handles projects related to rural drinking water and remote village electrification.

For the quarter ending December 2025, GK Energy reported a revenue of ₹512.98 Crores, representing a growth of 26.37% compared to the previous quarter’s revenue of ₹405.92 Crores. Net profit for the same period reached ₹60.82 Crores, up 29.65% from ₹46.91 Crores in the September 2025 quarter. Year-on-year, revenue jumped 59.34% and net profits rose by 63.06% compared to the corresponding quarter in 2024. As of early 2026, the company’s shareholding pattern shows 79.2% promoter holding, with Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) and Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) holding 4.88% and 0.79% respectively.
