Marsons Limited has officially announced the receipt of a significant purchase order from Ram Taranga Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The disclosure, made on May 8, 2026, under Regulation 30 of SEBI Regulations, highlights a major domestic contract for the company’s transformer division.

The purchase order is valued at ₹18.88 Crores, inclusive of GST, and involves the supply of 100/125 MVA 220 kV Power Transformers and 16.8 MVA Inverter Duty Transformers. This domestic contract is scheduled for execution within a six-month timeframe. Marsons Limited confirmed that the awarding entity, Ram Taranga Solutions Pvt. Ltd., is a domestic entity with no promoter or group company interests involved, ensuring the transaction is not a related party arrangement.

Founded in the late 1950s in Kolkata, Marsons Limited is a leading manufacturer and supplier of power and distribution transformers, ranging from 10 KVA to 160 MVA 220 kV class. It holds the distinction of being the only Extra-High Voltage (EHV) transformer manufacturer in Eastern India. Recent updates indicate the company is expanding its capabilities to manufacture EHV Power Transformers up to 315 MVA 400 kV class. Throughout 2025, the company focused on grid expansion projects and renewable energy integration, shipping its 300,000th transformer during this period.

For the last reported quarterly results ending December 31, 2025 (Q3 FY26), Marsons Limited reported revenue from operations of ₹45.94 Crores, compared to ₹59.80 Crores in the previous quarter (September 2025) and ₹44.17 Crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Net profit for the December 2025 quarter stood at ₹6.48 Crores, showing growth from ₹6.32 Crores in the same period last year, though it declined from ₹9.20 Crores in the preceding quarter.
