In a significant development, the Board of Directors of GE Vernova T&D India Limited approved an investment of Rs. 550 Million to establish new production capacities for Disconnectors and Drives for 362 kV Dead Tank Circuit Breakers. This new facility will be located in Vallam, Tamil Nadu, and is intended to cater to both the domestic and international markets. The company expects to roll out the first production from this expansion by December 2026, with the project being funded through internal accruals. This strategic investment aligns with the company’s efforts to meet the growing demand for power transmission equipment.

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, the company reported an annual net profit of Rs. 12,332.5 Million compared to Rs. 6,083.3 Million in the previous fiscal year. Annual revenue from operations increased to Rs. 62,063.1 Million, up from Rs. 42,923.0 Million in the prior year. The company’s shareholding structure includes major institutional holders such as Nippon Life India Asset Management Limited. Additionally, Grid Equipments Private Limited remains a significant promoter, holding a 50.7% stake in the company as of late 2025.
