RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has officially announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Senior Divisional Signal and Telecom Engineer (Sr. Dste) of Jodhpur, North Western Railway. The order entails the execution of double distant signaling work in the Jajiwal-Nawa City section of the Jodhpur division.

This domestic contract is valued at approximately ₹15.67 Crores, an amount that includes all applicable taxes. According to the terms of the agreement, the project is scheduled to be completed by May 13, 2027. The order was formally received by the company on May 16, 2026.

RailTel Corporation of India, a “Navratna” Public Sector Undertaking, is a premier ICT provider and one of the largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers in India. The company owns an extensive Pan-India optical fiber network covering over 63,000 route kilometers. Throughout 2025, RailTel continued to strengthen its market position by securing numerous orders across various sectors, including education, coal, and infrastructure. Notable developments during that year included a strategic five-year partnership with Microsoft to drive AI innovation in the government sector and the receipt of multiple awards for digital transformation and excellence.

Regarding financial performance, while specific quarterly results were not the focus of this notice, the company has demonstrated robust growth trends. RailTel has maintained a strong track record, delivering a profit growth of 21.0% CAGR over the last five years. As of the recent shareholding data, the President of India remains the primary promoter with a 72.84% stake. Institutional interest continues to be present, with Foreign Portfolio Investors (FII/FPI) and Mutual Funds holding significant positions in the company.
