In accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited has announced the receipt of a domestic order valued at Rs. 175 Crore. The order, awarded by Bhanwariya Infra Projects Private Limited, involves the manufacturing and delivery of 4 transformers and 5 reactors, which are scheduled to be completed on or before March 2028. These units are intended for use in the 400/220 KV GSS Kumher (Bharatpur) and 400/220 KV GSS Amber (Jaipur) projects under the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RRVPNL).
Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited is a prominent manufacturer of power, furnace, rectifier, and distribution transformers, catering to utilities and industrial clients both domestically and internationally. Throughout 2025, the company continued to solidify its market position by securing various significant contracts, including a Rs. 389.97 Crore order from GETCO and other project-specific wins. The company has focused on expanding its technical capabilities, including the successful testing of high-rating transformers for solar applications and acquiring a majority stake in Triveni Transtech (India) Private Limited to bolster its operations.
For the quarter ended September 2025 (Q2 FY 2025-26), the company reported a total income of Rs. 473.95 Crore, reflecting a marginal year-over-year increase of 0.1% compared to Rs. 473.31 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. However, on a quarter-over-quarter basis, total income decreased by 13.8% from Rs. 549.64 Crore. Profit After Tax (PAT) for Q2 FY26 was Rs. 37.35 Crore, a decline of 18.6% year-over-year from Rs. 45.91 Crore and a 44.6% decrease quarter-over-quarter from Rs. 67.46 Crore. Shareholding patterns indicate that the company maintains substantial promoter interest at 64.36% as of March 2026, with institutional investors like Invesco India Manufacturing Fund and various Foreign Portfolio Investors holding positions in the company.
