The Board of Directors of Century Plyboards (India) Limited, at its meeting held on May 22, 2026, approved significant changes in its leadership team, subject to shareholder approval. The company announced the re-appointment of Smt. Nikita Bansal (DIN: 03109710) as an Executive Director for a further period of five years effective from February 1, 2027. Furthermore, the Board approved the appointment of Rakesh Kumar Jain as an Additional Director in the Independent category for a five-year term, effective May 22, 2026.
Nikita Bansal, an Economics graduate with experience in management and digitization, has been on the Board since 2017 and is the daughter of the CEO & Managing Director, Sri Sanjay Agarwal. Rakesh Kumar Jain brings over 40 years of experience in industrial sustainability, research, and innovation, holding a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Forest Research Institute.
Century Plyboards has been active in expanding its leadership to support its strategic growth initiatives. Throughout 2025, the company engaged in various corporate updates, including the commencement of operations by its subsidiary, Century Ports, at the Khidderpore Docks in Kolkata in August 2025. The company also maintains a focus on ESG performance, having been assigned an ESG score of 72.5 for FY25.
Regarding financial growth for the fiscal year 2025-26, the company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹268.33 crore, reflecting a 44.20% growth compared to ₹186.08 crore in FY25.
