EFC (I) Limited has officially announced the incorporation of its new wholly-owned subsidiary, EFC Estate Wakadewadi 2 Private Limited, on April 29, 2026. This strategic move involves the acquisition of commercial property at the Godrej Eternia complex in Pune through a demerger process from its material subsidiary, EFC Limited. The incorporation was finalized following the receipt of the Certificate of Incorporation from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

The new entity, EFC Estate Wakadewadi 2, is integrated into the company’s “Real Estate as a Service” framework and will focus on managing high-end commercial spaces. The subsidiary was incorporated with a cash consideration of ₹1,000, representing 100 equity shares at a face value of ₹10 each, all of which are held by EFC (I) Limited. This expansion is part of the company’s broader objective to consolidate its property holdings and streamline its managed office operations in key commercial hubs like Pune.

EFC (I) Limited, founded in 2014 by entrepreneur Umesh Sahay, is a premier provider of managed office spaces, interior design, and furniture manufacturing. In early 2025, the company made significant strides by forming a strategic joint venture with Pepperfry to transform India’s furniture and logistics industry. Throughout 2025, EFC also expanded its portfolio by launching EMBERSTONE SM REIT, India’s first managed office space-focused REIT, and acquiring a majority stake in Bigbox Ventures. The company currently operates across 11 cities with over 73,000 seats under management, serving more than 720 corporate clients.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2025 (Q3 FY26), the company reported a total revenue of ₹269.6 Crores, reflecting a steady execution of its integrated workspace ecosystem. The consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹62.4 Crores, marking a 54% Year-over-Year (YoY) increase from the ₹40.5 Crores reported in the corresponding quarter of 2025. Key leadership driving this growth includes founders Umesh Sahay and Abhishek Narbaria, with the board supported by independent directors such as M. Srinivas Rao and Rajesh Vaishnav.
