ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced the successful commissioning of an 8 MW wind power project in Gujarat through its subsidiary, ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited. The project, located at Village Titoda in the Surendranagar district, received its official Certificate of Commissioning from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) on May 05, 2026. This milestone follows previous progress updates shared by the company in April 2026, marking a steady expansion of their renewable energy footprint.
The 8 MW wind facility is a key component of ACME Solar’s strategic move to diversify its energy portfolio beyond its traditional solar stronghold. By securing the commissioning certificate for this specific site in Taluka Sayla, the company strengthens its operational capacity in the resource-rich state of Gujarat. This project is part of a broader push to integrate wind energy into their utility-scale offerings, contributing to India’s green energy grid.
ACME Solar Holdings is a leading Indian independent power producer (IPP) that develops, builds, and operates large-scale renewable energy solutions, including solar, wind, and hybrid projects. During the same year, they also emerged as the winning bidder for a 130 MW Round-The-Clock (RTC) renewable energy tender for Indian Railways. Their integrated approach utilizes in-house EPC and O&M capabilities to manage over 20,000 acres of land across multiple states.
