Magellanic Cloud Limited recently announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Provigil Surveillance Limited, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the South Eastern Railway, Kharagpur Division. The contract, valued at approximately 3.44 Crore, underscores the company’s growing role in enhancing national transport security through advanced technology.
The project involves the modernization and upgradation of infrastructure at Kharagpur and PKU Goods Sheds. Specifically, the scope of work includes the supply, installation, commissioning, and integration of AI-led CCTV surveillance systems. These systems are designed to provide centralized monitoring and networking infrastructure, enabling railway authorities to monitor movement patterns, detect unauthorized access, and improve real-time incident response.
Magellanic Cloud is a global technology enterprise specializing in digital transformation, e-surveillance, and AI-driven solutions. In 2025, the company marked significant milestones, including its successful listing on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). During the same year, its subsidiaries collectively secured projects worth over 118 Crore, including a major 85 Crore project from Southern Railway for AI-powered surveillance across 484 stations. The company also expanded its global footprint with its Scanalitix video management platform in markets like the United States and Dubai.
For the quarter ending December 31, 2025 (Q3 FY26), the company reported a consolidated revenue of 165.02 Crore, representing an 8.92% year-on-year growth compared to 151.50 Crore in the corresponding quarter of 2024. Net profit for the period stood at 29.16 Crore, a slight marginal decline from 29.33 Crore in the previous year. As of late 2025, the promoter holding remained stable at approximately 54.04%, with the company continuing to draw attention from institutional investors as it integrates AI capabilities into large-scale public infrastructure.
