Operated through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Sun Power Private Limited, the project is situated in the Phalodi and Jodhpur districts of Rajasthan. The company confirmed that the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for this specific capacity is set for May 13, 2026.
Project Scale and Impact With the integration of this new capacity, ACME Sun Power Private Limited has reached a total commissioned capacity of 233.336 MW / 1123.424 MWh. This development is a continuation of the company’s phased commissioning strategy initiated earlier in May 2026. The project utilizes advanced energy storage technology to stabilize the grid and ensure the dispatchability of renewable energy, which is a critical component of India’s grid modernization efforts.
Corporate Development and Recent Milestones The company remains a leader in the energy transition space, with a portfolio spanning multiple states and technologies. In 2025, ACME Solar actively participated in major bidding processes, securing a 301 MW project from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). Throughout 2025, the firm maintained high plant availability levels of 99.5%, ensuring consistent energy generation from its operational assets. Furthermore, the company successfully refinanced ₹3,300 crore of debt in early 2026, significantly reducing its overall borrowing costs and improving bottom-line efficiency.
Financial Highlights and Ownership Structure ACME Solar reported strong financial results for the full fiscal year 2026, with total revenue surging by 59.2% to reach ₹2,507 crore. The annual Profit After Tax (PAT) nearly doubled to ₹498 crore from ₹251 crore in the prior fiscal year. The fourth quarter (Q4 FY26) alone contributed a net profit of ₹139.32 crore. As of March 2025, the shareholding pattern was primarily led by ACME Cleantech Solutions Pvt Ltd. Institutional investors, including various mutual funds and foreign portfolio investors, maintained a collective holding of approximately 10.65% in the company by the end of the March 2026 quarter.
