HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG) has officially announced the launch of its new, comprehensive cancer hospital in Hebbal, North Bengaluru. The facility, which commenced operations on May 19, 2026, is designed to provide advanced oncology care with a capacity of up to 132 beds, aiming to enhance treatment accessibility for patients across Karnataka.

The new hospital represents a significant investment of approximately INR 129 Crores, financed through a combination of debt and the company’s internal accruals. A major technological highlight of this facility is the introduction of Karnataka’s first Elekta Unity MR-Linac, a precision radiation therapy platform that integrates high-quality MRI imaging with a linear accelerator to facilitate adaptive cancer treatment. The center is structured as a full-spectrum oncology facility, offering services ranging from diagnosis to recovery support.

HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited is a leading Indian healthcare provider specializing in cancer care and fertility treatments. Under the “HCG” brand, the company manages one of the largest private cancer care networks in India. In 2025, the company saw significant corporate developments, most notably the acquisition of a controlling stake by KKR from CVC Capital Partners, which was completed in June 2025. Additionally, the company has been actively expanding its infrastructure, with a focus on increasing bed capacity and deploying advanced medical technologies like Cyberknife, PET-CT, and robotic systems to maintain its clinical excellence.

For the financial year ending March 31, 2025, the company generated a revenue of approximately INR 2,260 Crores. Recent financial disclosures highlight a focus on cost efficiencies and operational leverage despite the capital-intensive nature of their expansion projects. The company’s shareholding structure features institutional backing, with KKR (via Hector Asia Holdings II Pte. Ltd.) being a major promoter, and significant participation from mutual funds such as Nippon Life India Asset Management.
